Watch: FCC Chairman Ajit Pai mocks Net Neutrality supporters

The Daily Caller

In a move that is frankly unbelievable, FCC Chairman Ajit Pai starred in a new video mocking Net Neutrality supporters. The video popped up on conservative website The Daily Caller and features Pai telling us about all of the cool stuff we can still do once he destroys Net Neutrality. Watch this thing because I’m at a loss for words.

In the first 15 seconds of the video, you know things are going to go wrong. The thumbnail tells you all you need to know, but dropping the line, “restore internet freedom” dooms any goodwill that Pai might’ve received.

Chances are, especially if you reside in the US, you’ve heard a thing or two about net neutrality. There are those who are in firm support of net neutrality – most …

Getting on camera and telling people that they can still “Gram your food” or make Harlem Shake videos (did we travel back to 2013?) while you destroy the rules that allow us to do those things is ridiculously arrogant. When you kill Net Neutrality, Comcast, Verizon, or Spectrum could prevent any of us from posting to Instagram. They can block our access to YouTube in favor of its own video sharing site. Streaming videos? Verizon has already proven it has no problem messing with our Netflix sessions.

The only question is: where do we go from here? Our recommendation is that you call your representatives and demand that they sponsor and vote for support legislation to restore Net Neutrality rules.

What do you think about Mr. Pai’s video? Are you concerned by the rollback of Net Neutrality laws? Let us know down in the comments.
